I thought I would test my talents and I painted a plate for some dear friends of our......well I think it turned out pretty good for the first time. I really didn't know what to expect....so everyone here it is.

Greenway Art Festival

The kids and I went to the greenway today to checkout all the local artist......and WOW! There was some beautiful work! I wish I could buy something from them all. Well I added some more artists to the link side, I wish I could add a few more but they didn't have websites. It was such a beautiful day too, 70 degrees who could ask for more, art, music and beautiful weather.

I was at the Clay Pot today getting ready to work on painting some future stuff....yes I am going to give clay painting a try ;-) but while I was there I saw on the walls some real cool folk art... and I just loved her work...I think it reminds me a lot of my work, or maybe I should say work I wish I was doing. There was also another artist there http://www.bobbiesfolkart.com/ , she was really good but I can't add her to my list because she is not....well...... local... Anyway if anyone ever looks at this site take a look at their work. Well back to the books!!!

My newest painting is of the beach....( this will be realist painting not one of the whimsical ones) with sand dunes and well it is in the works trying very hard to find time to paint but the kids seem to drain all my drive out of me.....;-)

I finally figured it out

I wanted this to be MY site...hheheh, so I'm going to post my favorite things ART!!! Art in the boro....I know this has to be alot of buding artist out there. I see or hear about their work everywhere. And who knows maybe one day I can change the Title of this website.
